From Sold-Out Vancouver to Calgary: AI in Communications Boot Camp

Calgary | 4–5 June 2026

Following a record sold-out edition in Vancouver, the AI in Communications Boot Camp is coming to Calgary, bringing Canada’s most practical AI training for communicators to Alberta.

Designed for senior communications, PR, corporate affairs, and public-sector leaders, this two-day Boot Camp focuses on how to implement AI in real communications environments with confidence, control, and credibility. It is not about chasing tools or trends. It is about making AI work under real-world pressure.

The program brings together experts from the University of British Columbia, Discord, San Francisco State University, and Intel, combining academic insight with frontline practitioner experience.

Across two focused days, participants will learn how to move from AI experimentation to measurable impact, work faster without losing judgment or trust, protect reputation in an AI-driven risk and disinformation landscape, and build AI-ready workflows that scale across teams. The emphasis is on defensible decision-making, accountability, and repeatable processes that hold up under scrutiny.

What Makes This Boot Camp Different

This is not a trends event. It is a working Boot Camp built for senior communicators who operate under pressure.

Participants will explore where AI genuinely adds value, where human judgment remains critical, and how to combine both into practical communications workflows grounded in real risks, real constraints, and real organisational expectations.

Day Two Executive Workshop

Day two features a full-day, hands-on executive workshop led by Alex Sévigny of McMaster University. The workshop focuses on building AI-ready communications workflows, managing risk, and measuring outcomes, giving participants a clear and responsible roadmap for AI implementation.

A Proven Global Program

The AI in Communications Boot Camp has trained more than 3,000 communications professionals across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, with participants from corporate, public-sector, and healthcare organisations.

Attendance is limited to 70 participants to ensure hands-on learning, meaningful discussion, and direct access to experts.
