P World to Host Canada’s First ESG Communications Summit

Some of North America’s leading ESG communicators from McDonalds, Husky Technologies, Humber College, TELUS, Hill & Knowlton Strategies and Manulife are scheduled to present at P World’s first ever “ESG Communications Summit” on April 28th in Toronto.
The one-day interactive Summit kicks off with a keynote on What exactly is ESG and how can ESG communications help build your brand? by Amanda McGuire, Director, Global Impact & ESG Communications at McDonalds in the US. Delegates attending the Summit will also hear presentations on best practices in ESG communication and reporting by Sarah Chapman, Global Chief Sustainability Officer at Manulife, speaking on purpose by Sevaun Palvetzian, Sr. Fellow, Munk Centre of Global Affairs & Public Policy, ESG, purpose and government relations by Tom Chervensky, Head of External Affairs and Social Capitalism, Public Policy at TELUS and current trends and challenges in ESG communications in Canada by Emrul Hasan, Vice President, Citizenship & Sustainability, Corporate Advisory at Hill+Knowlton Strategies. The Summit will also focus on building a culture around ESG that resonates with employees, ESG storytelling without greenwashing and managing legal disclosure risks in ESG communications.
