Dr. Wolfgang Henle heads the Opportunity and Risk Management of Austrian Airlines. In 1994 he began his career at Tyrolean Airways as a project manager. End of 1996, he became head Operations Administration. From 2004 to 2007, Dr. Henle was COO at the National Airline of Slovakia. In late 2006, he re-implemented the systematic identification and assessment of risks and opportunities in all areas of the Austrian Airlines Group, as a result in 2008, a separate area of opportunities and risk management was established at the company. Besides this task Dr. Henle still flies as Line Captain for Austrian Airlines.
