Michael Gutsmann became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Bigpoint in May 2009. In addition to leading Bigpoint’s financial department, he is also focused on furthering the company’s international expansion goals.Michael started his career as Controller at forklift producer Jungheinrich AG. Gutsmann then became executive assistant to the managing director of Louis Krages before accepting the position of Director of Finance at Staples, the international office supplies giant. Later, the Hamburg native assumed the position of CFO – Central Europe at Icon MediaLab/LostBoys AG, after which he was on the executive board of the Block Group restaurant chain. The last stop for the finance professional prior to Bigpoint was as Managing Director of AOL Germany. The dedicated father spends as much of his private time with his family as possible.
