How Technology Has Reshaped Talent Acquisition
Although it may seem like technology is taking over, nothing replaces the human element when it comes to hiring top talent. Technology can’t build relationships and court executive talent, but it can help target the appropriate audiences, provide efficiency, and streamline processes. Therefore, the best results come from working in tandem with technology.
Erica will share how she has worked in tandem with technology and how important it is to get the balance right.

Trends in Workforce Analytics & What's In Store For The Future
There is no more exciting place to work in HR today than Workforce or People Analytics. While other parts of HR are re-inventing themselves, Workforce Analytics is inventing itself. From small scrapy sub-teams tracking headcount, hires and terminations in MS Excel to Ph.D. Data Scientists predicting human behavior; Workforce Analytics has not been around long but it has been around long enough to evolve. And now that Workforce Analytics is an established part of many HR departments the question is where does it need to go from here to continue to add and sustain its value. .

Interactive Workshop: Strategic Workforce Planning: Mapping the Journey
This interactive workshop will enable you to accelerate your success with strategic workforce planning, whether you are already in the midst of the journey or just starting out. We’ll begin by narrowing the definition of what strategic workforce planning – what it is and what it is not. After that we will explore the strategic workforce planning process using HCI’s 8-step Strategic Workforce Planning Framework. The session will include two practical, hands-on exercises, designed to allow you to apply what you learn immediately in two critical areas that are central to strategic workforce planning - Role Segmentation, where you’ll learn to prioritize the roles that most closely align with your organization’s strategy, and Environment Scanning where you’ll examine the influence of external factors on your organization’s business and talent strategy.

Interactive Workshop: Change Management: Three Roles Critical for HR
Research on the topic of change management by HCI and others shows that less than 1 out of three organizational change initiatives are deemed to be successful. This interactive workshop will enable you to beat the odds and increase the success rate of change initiatives in your organizations. You will learn to better understand and execute the three distinct roles HR professionals can, and should, play in helping to drive change – Architect, Broadcaster, and Coach. A growing number of organizations are moving from a project-by-project approach toward embedding change management and building organizational capabilities and competencies around it. This session will include mini-cases study activities, designed to help you apply what you learn and begin to master critical skills associated with managing and leading change.
